Some paths lead you to some pretty unexpected places. Never did I think a path along a beach would lead me to a canyon with walls covered in ferns. The appropriately named Fern Canyon is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. If you are a fern fan like I am (my mum used to grow them in our garden in Australia) you will feel like you're in heaven. A beautiful little creek runs through the middle of this incredible scene with the fern covered walls at times as high as forty feet. It was pretty busy the day I went there because it was a public holiday so this is one of the best shots I could get with both walls in it.
