CH Block Party 2011
It's been a few days since I've visited the ol interwebs. This weekend was the Capitol Hill Block Party and I have been having a wonderful couple of days cover in music and mirth.
For those of you who don't live in Seattle, the Capitol Hill Block party is a three day music event in the neighborhood of Capitol Hill in downtown Seattle. The Pike street between Broadway and 12th is closed off and 4 stages are erected or over taken to present a myriad of bands.
I've been to the block party four years in a row and it has been touch and go on whether I stay or not. There have been good years and bad, but this year was a hit. To be fair, today I left after seeing one band. I guess I'm getting old, oh well.
I'll be posting videos of all of the bands I discovered through out the week. I think you're going to like them just as much as I do!
