It was about a month before they were going to start classes. The mail came for Marinette and she read the letter from housing. It provided names and the room number. They’d be in room 312 in Lafayette Hall.

It was a different story when she arrived on campus. In the registration line she spied a familiar figure. What were the odds Adrien was in the same building as her? Lafayette was a co-ed dorm, so it wasn’t exactly that big of a surprise, but with twelve other residence buildings...

They finally got to the front line, and Marinette got her key. She walked up the stairs to the third floor and talked to Adrien as she passed him. A bit strange that there was no separate wing for male and female students. Stranger yet, he walked out of 314. 

Marinette was going to be neighbors with Adrien.

Her roommate was rather nice. They set their spaces and boundaries, but both didn’t seem to mind if they were crossed... with proper notice of course. Marinette blushed at the suggestion either of them would bring a boy over, and the procedure for that. She knew about the sock rule from others, but never thought it was actually a thing.

Fortunately, their housing was suite style, so there was two bathrooms for each side. It was considered that the males would use the one on their side, and the ladies the one on theirs... It wasn’t exactly marked as such... more of a rule of thumb.

    In 4 years a lot could change. Marinette had spent that time away from home pursuing her degree in fashion design. The girl had worked hard though those years only to find it had paid off. Gabriel Agreste had offered her an amazing internship immediately after she had graduated and so now Marinette had a reason to come home. 

    Well two reasons. Without her to defend against these forces of evil Paris had changed from a sweet city to something darker. The quiet streets were now full of villains. The peaceful nights were filled with cries of terror. And the happy faces of strangers had now been changed to fear. That was why she had to return, she had to put an end to the terror. 

   Ladybug used to just be a silly concept but now it was Marinette’s reality. Trained thoroughly in multiple fighting styles and armed, this vigilante was ready to take back the city she once loved.

   Standing on the rooftops of Paris, the heroine looked for the first sight of trouble only to spot a black figure running through the streets. A smirk grew across the girl’s face. Showtime. Dropping below she landed directly before the dark figure.

◢ 🐾◥Adrien was loosing his mind, he could feel his fangs digging into the side of his cheek. He needed blood. He just needed to make it home, he had some there, and everything would be alright…that was, an hour ago, right about now, he was having a nervous break down, he had successfully managed to isolate himself from the school, hiding in the bathroom away from everyone. This..this was not good. He heard the door open, and he froze, no…nononono this was bad. He thought to himself before he turned around, his eyes shot right to his neck, he clenched his teeth, no… No matter how much he denied his, his body moved at lightning speed, he grabbed the boy, slamming him against the wall, a hand gripping his hair as he revealed his neck, then he bit down with perfect precision. He tasted the warm liquid as he visibly relaxed, though his grip on the boy didn’t loosen. ◢ 🐾◥

Daniel had fled to the bathroom for his own reasons. He wasn’t a fan of Physics, and did almost anything he could to get himself out of class. Today he had decided to hide out in the bathroom till the class was over. Well, not the whole class, he would get in trouble for skipping a whole class, but he would be late at least. He sighed as he pushed open the bathroom door and rubbed at his face as he did so.

He wished he didn’t have to go to school.

◢ 🐾◥ Adrien sighed as he walked into his office, before pausing as he looked to the small box on his desk, a smile on his face. He opened it up and popped a small chocolate in his mouth, humming with the flavor. He looked back down at the note, before he stood up heading over to his daughter’s room, shooting his assistant a message. He wasn’t going to end up like his father. Not on his watch. After five minutes of waiting, he knocked on her door, a large red bear in his hands before waiting for the small voice to answer. “Emma?” He called out, pausing a bit as he opened the door, a grin on his face.◢ 🐾◥

The poor girl was sound asleep. A rough week at school and constant rehearsals for a musical had tired the child out. At least her sister didn’t try to wake her like she did when they were younger. 

Marinette took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell. Adrien had been out sick from school that day. She hadn’t time during her lunch break to visit, mostly because she had chickened out before she even got within a block of his house. Yet now here she was waiting to be let in cradling a thermos she had brought form home.

The overly stiff lady seemed to recognize her and buzzed her in. The strange thing was the woman looked almost relieved to see her. “I brought some homemade soup for Adrien...” She said softly as she stood in the foyer.

“How about you give it to him and see if you can take this medicine.” Nathalie said holding out the medicine.

“Okay...” Marinette said before she was lead to his room. She stepped inside carefully seeming to shrink as she approached him.

----; {Ah yes, it was Heather’s educational trip of the year. Because she is learning French, her father thought it would be appropriate to travel to France for a bit. Heather brought her camera with her. So far, she has taken pictures of signs in French. This will be great educational material.}

----; {Heather now needs to ride the bus to get to her next destination. She doesn’t know if any natives to France are learning English as a second language, but she hopes some of them do. As she boarded the bus, she was planning to sit by herself. But all the seats were filled with at least one person.}
