The striking art of staying completely unapologetic, effortlessly magnetic, and strikingly fierce. It is an aesthetic of quite confidence, high swagger, and an IDGAF energy that doesn’t seek approval, because it already owns it.

1. Who is your favorite background character?

I love so many I feel torn! I think it’s probably between Juleka, Marinette’s parents and Nathalie. But there are so many wonderful others I just can’t make up my mind.

2. If you could be any of the characters in the show, who would you be and why?

Probably Alya. She’s just so confident and passionate about everything she does. I don’t think she’s ever really afraid to speak her mind, and if she wants something she goes after it. That kind of confidence is something I’ve always kind of wished I had.

3. Who has been your favorite akuma victim so far and why?

Maybe Nathanaël? Sweet tomato boy’s desire to impress Marinette overcame his need for revenge so much, and I think that’s really fantastic. Also his Evillustrator powers were really cool.

4. Who is your favorite overall character and why?

Definitely Marinette/Ladybug. After watching Origins Part 2, I fell straight-up in love with her. I’m talking like butterflies and heart-racing. Like I loved her before, but Origins changed me, no joke. I am in the same boat as Chat, 100%. There may or may not be a post of pure Ladylove describing why I think she’s so incredible that’s been sitting in my drafts for maybe a month now. Not to mention how much of an incredible role model I think she is for kids, and how important that is to me. Plagg is a close second, but he doesn’t affect me nearly as much.

5. Least favorite character and why?

I always find it so hard to find a least favorite character in a series I love! But if I really had to choose, maybe Sabrina? Though I still kinda like her a little. I’m not in love with her color scheme, and personality-wise I wish she wasn’t so clingy to others?

6. Favorite overall ship?

I think Ladynoir? I love how flirtatious they are together, and I love the team dynamic they have. Since the start something about that relationship just sort of clicked for me. (Close second is Marichat, though!)

7. Favorite character design?

Chat Noir? I feel super cliche but he has a bell, and for some reason that really makes it for me?? I really like how Ladybug’s suit is all simple and just seems really practical, but then Chat has all these accessories like his ears and his belt-tail and his bell, (But like can we appreciate the greatness that is Master Fu and his Hawaiian shirt deal.)

8. Favorite headcanon?

The one I’m really stuck on is that Tikki and Plagg know (because of course they do) and the reason Tikki doesn’t say anything is because she wants to respect Marinette’s decision to keep her identity a secret from Chat Noir. But the reason Plagg doesn’t tell is because he loves the all dramatic irony and just wants to see the look on Adrien’s face when he does find out.

9. Favorite episode so far?

Stormy Weather, because it was the first episode I saw and it instantly dragged me down the rabbit hole that is the life I lead today. I just remember thinking that the animation looked so good and my internal dialogue of “what is this and why do I love it so much.”

10. Least favorite overall ship?

Probably Ladrien. I think it’s incredibly sweet how they’re both just kinda there with the objects of their affection, but I don’t know it just doesn’t appeal to me all that strongly? Though I still ship it of course, how could I not. Also showers.

11. Favorite kwami and why?

Plagg, because he is absolutely the character I relate to the most. All he ever wants to do is sleep, eat and avoid responsibility. Like I just look at him and think, “oh, it’s me.”
