How hard could it really be? Like truly? She performed day after day and night after night. Would it kill him to even just nod in her direction? If he was here so often? But youâve never just wanted a nod from him have you Reina? Rolling her eyes to no one but herself, Reina ended her piece with her back to the crowd. Forcing down deep breaths, the witch turned with a smirk and a flip of her hair to face those who still watched. Getting off her knees, the female made her way off stage and straight towards the one who sheâd kept an eye on: Atemu.
Reina was convinced at times there had to be something in the air. Something in the air that changed people or made others do things they shouldnât. Or even if the deed was justifiable, it was still wrong. The Natrual knew her old friends occupation-could even understand why he did it at times. But the female didnât approve, not a single bit. You canât control people. Oh she knew that very, very well. She never would-would never want to be controlled either like her mother Alma had tried to do with her own daughter. Yet, Reina knew it was time to cozy up to the sorcerer. At least, just to remind him he wasnât completely and indefinitely alone in this ruined city. As if he cares.
âYou know, itâs very upsetting how often you come to RE and donât even bother giving me a wink of acknowledgement.â Reina pouted but immediately chuckled. Winking at their other customers at the club, she made a show of circling Atemu before sitting across his lap sternly. The witch was careful with her actions, however; a small and thin shield was around her just as a soft warning. Though if he were to do anything, all Reina wished for was it not to call attention from others around them. âNow, while Iâm used to disappointment guapo, I do expect a good tip for tonight.â Smirking, the woman leaned into his ear and whispered, âwe both know you have the money.â If he hurt her...well sheâd deal with it. Unlike those who left the light side, she still had her healing gifts. Please, oh please donât do anything too reckless. Leaning back to search his face, she waved her hand, commanding the air, to bring his glass on the table closer to reach. Sniffing its contents, Reinaâs nose scrunched up. âWhatâs got you drinking this flavor tonight?â ( @cavernovsâ )
