Drew Hayes & Lale Kaplan - Brody outside downtown somewhere

Lale was finding it oddly easy to keep her growing secret to herself. It felt nice to be in it without the girlhood fear of disappointing every adult in her life by becoming a mother. This time it was serene, save for the morning sickness she'd done a good job so far of hiding from her husband. She wanted to make sure the baby would stick first before coming up with a sweet way to tell Ben that their family was growing.
These days with just her and her baby were lovely. She'd just heard their heart beat for the first time and was cradling a book that held the ultrasound to her chest when she was knocked into by a few kids on rollerblades. They barely shouted apologies over their shoulders as they skated away leaving a pile of her things strewn at her feet. Exhausted already Lale sighed and mentally prepared herself to drop down to pick it all up when the ultra sound was caught in the wind and whirled recklessly down the sidewalk stopping on the shoes of her neighbor, "Drew-" she greeted her eyes darting to his feet not quite fast enough to catch her ultrasound. Part of her hoped he wouldn't know what it was, but she knew better and was already flushing bright pink.
