He'd ran for the elevator, wanted to get out of his lobby full of people from everywhere and anywhere as quick as humanly possible, and when he noticed the doors closing, he stuck his foot out just in time for them to stop around it. The doors seemed to be glitching though, not opening automatically, and when he peered inside he noticed the blonde inside.

He'd had a few beers, and it had loosened him up enough to venture out of the corner he'd been hiding in for the first hour or two of the ball. He had been on his way to find Slate, because he hadn't had a chance to actually talk to him properly since he'd gotten out, and he knew it needed to happen, he needed to find out how well, or not so well-- he'd been dealing with things. He had many victors in his tattoo shop over the years, and they all seemed to carry this darkness to them, he hoped Slate might have found a way to escape it, but deep down he knew it was unlikely.

"Did you hear anything further from our friend Diedrich after the other night?" Ezra asked, as Cress appeared on the rooftop. He'd come here for some fresh air, although he didn't know how fresh it could be when you were surrounded by a forcefield. It was a nice escape anyway, mostly from Mars, who was doing his head in.

"Oh hi" Rush grinned as Cress entered the diner. He was so happy to see a familiar face. He'd tried making friends outside the tower, but most of the capitolites didn't understand his odd nature so it never went very far.
