1. When I was in 9th grade I was super into personality psychology, especially MBTI, and used to compulsively “type” everyone I knew and obsess over my own type indicator (for the record I’m super ENTJ)

2. I make friends extremely easily but have a hard time keeping them. Despite being an extrovert, I’m very much a loner. 

3. I haven’t been diagnosed yet (extenuating circumstances) but I suspect that I have Borderline Personality Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

1. I love browsing online shops and watching youtube fashion videos, even though I hardly ever buy anything.

1. what was the last movie you saw?

i cannot for the life of me remember! oops.

2. what was the last song you listened to?

“plans” by london-based duo oh wonder. it’s a gorgeous song—and feels so true besides.

3. what was the last show you watched?

luther, a bbc crime drama starring idris elba. i’d highly highly highly recommend it: phenomenal performances all around (idris elba and ruth wilson especially! wow), glorious cinematography, on-point soundtrack, moral ambiguity, layered characters, gripping plotline. gah, i love it.

(although, warning: definitely not for the faint of heart. the show contains a lot of blood and violence and sexual abuse mentions. just so you all are informed!)

4. what was the last book you read?

queen of shadows, the fourth book in sarah j. maas’s throne of glass series. it satisfied all my high fantasy cravings—a lush, complex world + wonderfully lethal female characters = YES. but i’ve also been feeling recently that it could do a lot better in terms of representation (and please please please stop leaning on the “woman of color dies solely to motivate white characters” trope.)

(currently, though, i’m working my way through libba bray’s lair of dreams, which is excellent.)

5. what was the last thing you ate?

a warm chocolate croissant for breakfast.

6. if you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be?

at the bookstore. always.

7. if you could pick a decade to travel back to in time, what would it be?

i always find these questions a little strange, because on one hand, the past is certainly aesthetically appealing, but on the other, it is socially rather unappealing. that said, i’d love to see 1980s south korea (when & where my parents grew up).

8. if you won the lotto & millions in cash, what would be the first thing you would do?

set aside enough in savings to pay for all my college expenses and my first few months/years out of college.

9. which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day?

so many, but in particular, i’d love to hang out with zuzana novakova from the daughter of smoke and bone series. so much good food and resourcefulness and short people sass.

10. what was the last fandom you joined?

probably the luther fandom (is that a thing? please tell me that’s a thing).
