An Awfully Grand Adventure || Rumpelstiltskin, Baelfire, and Hook
The sea breeze played through the brown strands of Rumpelstiltskin's hair as he walked by his son's side. In in his right hand was his cane, held up. Considering that Bae already knew about his newfound mobility, the spinner need not pretend that he still had a limp. A warm yet small half-smile lit up the man's face as his son continued talking about his life: with Graham, his grandchildren, their new dog, everything. Oh, how he had dreamed that this day would come, that his son would be able to be actually happy around him again. And now it was here. He was really walking with his son by the beach. True, with his rapid growth, the spinner missed his son as a child, and he missed teaching him how to spin and telling him stories and the like... But he would never trade this moment for anything in all the world. Rumpelstiltskin chuckled at Bae's latest stories about Joshua and Caleb's exploits at school. "They really are quite like you, son. Especially with how adventurous they can be." Again, memories flashed in his mind of little Baelfire playing Knights and Dragons with the other children of the village. He remembered his pout when he complained that Morraine had beaten him twice in a 'duel.'
