Chasing impossible Katie McGarry
I hate to say that this book disappointed me in a couple of ways. I have read a couple of books that has almost the same plot. I came across this book while I was looking for another Katie McGarry book. I read the synopsis, found a copy, and read it.. for a month. I know, this book now holds the record of the longest time Iāve read a book, and I am hating myself.
Reason number one, I really do like how the author gave justice and make a good character to Abby and Logan. i get how abby gets to sell drugs and logan has a diabetes, but I just didnt liked it that, the writing, kept on describing them. In the beginning, in the middle ( a couple of times, actually), and in the end.
Reason number two, I found the writing either less descriptive or too descriptive or maybe something in between. Yes, as a reader, I should know when to put myself in between the pages, but sometimes, well, most of the time, i really cannot picture what the story would like me to see.
Reason number three, the story ended okay. But it left me hanging with how Eric, Linus, Tommy and her dad ended up to in the story. I mean, were they arrested too? Or did Abby tried to protect them, until the end? Iām really confused.
But then, hereās the reason why I kept reading the story, simply, I wanted to know what will Abby do. To herself, to her drug selling, and to her and Logan and their friends.
I would still give this a second read tho, but not anytime soon.Ā Still, Iād like to give this book 2.5 stars.
