#chasing ghosts

Wanted to share this here. This was my first tattoo from 2018 and it sits proudly on my back.

Dandelions- a flowering plant with gorgeous yellow petals that turn into seed globes. People call them weeds, bend over backwards to eradicate them. Fully edible, rich in nutrients for pollinators, a way to make a wish, beautiful but still unwanted.

Chasing Ghosts- The Amity Affliction is the album that saved my life. Written in Joel Birch’s handwriting from his open letter that he wrote to fans.

The first chapter of Changing Ghosts was so intriguing. I think you set the scene well with the male OC and the worldbuilding. Looking forward to learn about his motivation in regards to Yunjin and her feelings and thoughts as well.

Excited to see how the story develops.

Thanks! Honestly I feel like the start is still the weakest part of the story so far, because it’s all about combining the start of a story with the heat of a scene, and it’s not really easy to do that. But then again, I felt like the story was always meant to start at that bar.

And it was also about accepting and appreciating the rough edges. Some portions I like, and some I don’t. It’s natural. It’s learning to post even when I feel like it should be rewritten. MC and Yunjin might be blank and one note, but I want to unravel them slowly, giving time to explore the depths of their characters, like how knowing people in real life works.

There’s so much more beneath the surface. With the characters, their motivations, the world. And I hope I can make you guys as excited as I am to see each subsequent chapter. I’d love to hear more from my audience. What can’t you wait to see? Did anything stand out? Can you already guess where this is headed? And, of course, what do you think could have been improved?
