#chasing fortune

As the door finally opened, she stealthilly walked in and closed the door as quietly as possible behind her. She took in the sights of a big, neat looking office with large windows on the entire wall facing outwards, realizing she had to be quicker than she thought, as someone could spot her from the street. It was a quiet afternoon in the middle of the summer and she knew that he'd be out at some big event that required most people from the office's presence. That was why today had to be the day. She went to his large wooden desk and opened his laptop to find that it was in sleep mode. That meant she wouldn't have to spend time guessing his password and she sighed from relief. Strangely enough, no programs or webpages were open except some document that looked like a draft of an email of some sort, probably to one of his many employees. Nothing interesting there. As she closed it, she noticed a picture of him and his son as his desktop wallpaper. She smiled to herself for nothing more than a second before opening his calendar app. She was blown away by how busy he seemed to be but when it came down to it, she hadn't really expected any less from a man like him. She took a few quick pictures of the entire months of July, August and September before she saw a tap labeled as "private". She quickly opened that, snapped pictures of that too before closing it, opening the document again and then closing the lid of the laptop. She left the building unnoticed and with no trace of her having even been there.
