Due to Chase being only a quarter Yokai, it took a bit longer for his powers to manifest. Aside from his eyes and oddly colored hair, he was pretty normal during his infancy and toddler years.

When he reached the age of 7, his levitation kicked in when he was running from some bullies. After that, his other abilities followed suit.
