notes: 

1. they’ve been roommates since even before they got together. 

2. for a few weeks after they got together, they kept their relationship a secret from the media and the public. Sergei was the first person to know about their relationship, he was (and still is) super supportive and also encouraged them and reminded them to keep things a secret for the time being, especially with their new comeback coming up. but their cover was quickly blown because neither Vladimir nor Vasili can help themselves skdjfb 

3. in the endgame they adopt four children! 

4.  they both want to feel free to be who they are and express themselves. and they both really appreciate people who appreciate them for who they are and what they’ve done to be proud of, not trying to force them to be people they’re not or do things they wouldn’t. luckily they find that in each other as well as the others in Thin Ice!

5. if this means crashing through a door/window/wall and subsequently saying hello, then very much yes because that’s such a Vladimir thing to do xD 

6. in theory? hell yes. in AUs where they will actually enter the battlefield together? even more hell yes. 

7. technically??? their relationship came some time after they had each lost the company of someone they once thought they knew. for Vladimir, it was his older sister Maria, after she went away to university and she completely changed into (for lack of a better word) a seemingly soulless workaholic. (I’ve talked about this before.) for Vasili, it was an ex he loved dearly until their relationship became more long-distance, after which she grew colder and more distant over the years that followed. it hurt since he thought they knew each other and that things could work between them even though they were two years apart. Vasili was the one to break the relationship off. 

8. they’re the ones to announce their relationship. (later edit: I’m gonna put this far later in the timeline than originally because... I just like it better that way) and of course either one of them are more often than not up to declare how much they love the other, especially when the other is feeling down xD
