" Naira, my darling ! I require your assistance once again. " Not to worry; he comes with offerings. After all, it would be terribly rude of him to ask a favour & not give her anything in return. He sets down a bag of goodies on a nearby table before turning his attention back to her. " I was wondering if you could help me with my attire. " He shows her the sleeve of his uniform; there's a small tear is visible on the cuff that seems to be bothering him. " I was practising my swordsmanship with another fellow from my dorm, & he managed to nick my uniform with his blade. Normally, I'd deal with it myself, but I seem to have misplaced my sewing kit. If you’d be so kind to sew it up for me, I’d be eternally grateful. ”
There's a gentle head tilt from the fairy as she looks to Charles. Well...even though she tells him she doesn't need payment for her work, he still felt the need to give her a ton of stuff! And...if nothing else, she could share with her friends too. They always liked when Naira shared her snacks with them. And while she herself didn't have a sewing kit...nor was she a sewing-talent fairy...she's seen Vil and Rook do it enough times.
Especially when she tore her own uniform and they refused to let her go anywhere until it was fixed. So she can do enough until Charles can get it fixed properly.
Her tools and hands were small enough, and she just took string from her own shirt. It was white and it matched Charles' own. Not like she didn't have a jacket to cover herself anyway once it went past her midriff. She'll just grab one of her extra shirts back in her dorm.
Once satisfied with the string length, she carefully began stitching back Charles' cuff. Yeah, it's not the best looking at all, but it's getting everything back in place nicely enough that if people don't look closely, they're not likely to notice it!
When she's done, she looks up at Charles with a rather almost apologetic look. She knows it's not pretty, but she's a tinkerer. Not a seamstress. Gadgets and fixings and tools are her trades.
"--Sorry, Charles." She hopes he can understand her and forgives the sloppy work.
