Their training sessions went more or less smoothly. Occasionally he could see that Selene was trying to give more of herself during those times, as if to impress him. While Yon-Rogg was truly impressed with Selene’s progress, the poor soul was completely oblivious as to why exactly she was doing it. They were long time friends, ever since they saved her in the forest, but the thing with Yon was, he never considered Selene to be more. Sure, there was friendly banter between them, the occasional sexual tension as well, but Yon never thought anything of it.

“It's a nice start.” She sighed. “Though I am not sure I would be apt to believe it in truth.” She had a lot to say. but she was scared that if she actually said it, he would leave... again... And any chance they would have for raising Eloise together would be gone, and she didn’t want that. 

So walking on egg shells it was, even if she hadn’t slept in over a week now. Thank gods she was Jotun and didn't need as much.
