      she  had  the  red eyes of her  MOTHER,   burning passionately as the embers of a slowly dying fire.       some people   called her gaze  intense;   she preferred the term unique.

                 she stares down at the other male with said gaze, for a brief moment,  before her face lights up with the smallest shade of pink, spreading across every bit of her face, up until even the very tips of her ears are PINK.

       a paw reaches out to take buster’s in it;  she squeezes, before bending down to give him a brief kiss, free paw caressing his cheek.

   -- grieving mother,  PAINTED with a face of  forced  POLITENESS,  does she stand before the shorter male, her paws gripped firmly upon the yellow flyer in her hand.   she has no need for the monetary reward;  (it’s a personal reason she wishes to enter,)  but first, she has to meet with the person responsible.
