“At this point your guess is as good as mine, princess,” Charlie replied, tapping a brief rhythm on his thighs with his fingers in a half-hearted effort to distract himself from the stress that had forced a mounting pressure in the form of a headache crashing against the back of his skull. “Perhaps a better question ought to be: what did you want to do to help?” Blue eyes shifted languidly to meet the Spaniard’s gaze and he allowed his eyes to linger for a moment before they drifted around the room and he dragged a hand through his hair with a huff of frustration. There were few things he abhorred more than feeling utterly useless, and that feeling was predominant and fierce in its intensity.

The corner’s of Lola’s lips took a dip down and a frown appeared on her features the moment her title departed the man’s lips. This might have been people’s first instinct when they looked at her, still, she hated it. “You can just call me Lola,” she Spaniard requested. What did you want to do to help? He asked, and she got to thinking about what the answer for it could possibly be. She wanted to make herself useful. She wanted to be able to show that there were things she was actually able to do instead of just sitting there and waiting for something to happen. Clearing her throat, she gathered her thoughts. “Well, I want to make people more comfortable, because I understand how stressful things must be right now. And, I could also possibly help try to take care of anyone who might have been injured,” she added in a little voice.
