Mookata at Charcoal Thai
Ahh damn mookata, for being so sinfully full of lard.
D had never had mookata, the Thai style of barbeque, so I wanted to bring him to one for our anniversary. We managed to find one at VivoCity, called Charcoal Thai. Ok crappy website, but this outlet at Vivo is quite new.
There's currently a Facebook deal that gets you a lunch set for $9.90 per pax, instead of the usual $39.90 (whut, who would pay that?!). The food was good, sinful, and just enough for the both of us, but we weren't thoroughly full. To be honest, the actual set didn't look as impressive as the photos on Facebook, but I guess it's still a pretty good deal.
The entire meal, including the drinks we ordered, amounted to about $30. Pretty decent for a lip-smacking bbq, just that I kinda smelled like lard for the rest of the day.
