I was actually helping them. I started to develop a friendship with her. Log 5 Betty is really nice to me lately. Iâm starting to feel sorry for her. This is Dottie.â He handed me a glass case, more like a sphere with a wood bottom. A black gooey substance was floating in it. It formed itself into two words. Hello Loraine âAww... isnât that cute! Itâs learning words now! Dottie will help you with control of the expanse. There are six right now. You are truly blessed to have one of your own.â TWO WEEKS LATER The lights flashed on and off. A mixture of black goo and blood filled the halls in many ways. The scientists were either flinging corpses in zero gravity, or crawling where the gravity didnât seep into the offices. âDottie... Please... Self...â The scientist could have finished his sentence if a black spike didnât impale him on the roof. I woke up from my sleep to this. I ran when gravity turned up and as soon as I got up it went down. âYou canât escape usâ I couldnât. This isnât the Betty or Loraine origin story that you wanted, probably, but it is the truth. And it can explain the next chapter very much.
