So Irregulars are similar to Emily in a way that they can go against the rules of the tower. And I think what they’re trying to do with Emily is to give her the blank slate of an Irregular but the ‘cheating ability’ of a guide. Cuz being an Irregular means nothing if you don’t know how to use your potential, so I guess one way to bypass that is...combining the abilities of a silver dwarf and red witch into one.

Chapter 220

Wait what hold up hold up I’m...I thought the Thorn was a fragment of the administrator, so the power is actually of the administrator’s (well, once ignitied via a soul).  Then again, it probably would make more sense for the Thorn to have Enryu’s power instead because I don’t think the Thorn would be considered ‘The Thorn to Kill the King’ if its power belonged to an administrator that could be killed by an Irregular. xD

*Cue Bam using the thorn for more than ten minutes and subsequently losing control of himself OWO\*

So when Daniel said in prior chapters to Cassano “I’m sure that arms of yours can deal damage to the guardian”, it was true. And Cassano is supposedly more powerful than Beta in his current ‘completed’ state.

Chapter 221

FINALLY. AN EXPLANATION. He was supposed to be an ‘illusion’ then suddenly, after taking one hit after the other, he becomes ‘real’, what even. OTL Later, Miseng calls this state ‘The realization of an illusion” and ngl, that sounds more like of a title of a fashion style rather than a battle mode. In reality, apparently Mirotic dude is just some sort of hologram and what they’re fighting is the shinsu that’s used to ‘imitate’ the guardian’s powers in real time.

I feel like this is the first time we got to see a more in-depth visualization of what an observer does. We already know what a lighthouse does, we’ve seen it time and time again, but not really for an observer. It’s literally able to analyze the power source of Mirotic Guardian, observers are kick-arse. Very fitting for Miseng (and Shibisu too but MISEEENG~) UWU

Ah yes. Absolutely nothing can go wrong with this. Yep.

Ran I fkkn swear omg xD **Wheeze** Both Dan and Arkraptor have this thing of seeing through Ran’s peak 90% tsun to somehow see his 10% dere, with Dan having the guts to mention it and Arkraptor having the guts to call Ran out on it. This does make me think of Novick though and I miss him. >_< Along with his interactions with Ran ofc.

SIU will really just never let any of his characters have a normal, calm reunion huh. Rachel and Bam reunited during a bloody crown game. Team khunbamrak reunited in the middle of the workshop battle and had to escape a burning pit of lava like right afterwards. And then this one. It’s a recurring theme and will continue to be a recurring theme OTL

I know that Bam is THE bane of Rachel’s existence, but I feel like Khun has worked very very hard to come second or even equal to Bam’s level of bane-ness in her life--and such hard work cannot go unacknowledged.

Chapter 223

This explanation sounded complicated at first, and it is, but I realized that this is very similar to being able to get to the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the space needle in seattle. There are two elevators, one is ‘fake’ and just leads to the restaurant. From the restaurant however, there is this special route you can take via the stairs to get to the top. Well, according to rumor anyways.

So was that place where Daniel got his necromancer powers???  He ‘died’ then came back to life, so the shinsu translated this into necromancy or something....I feel like I’m forgetting things, but yeah, it’s an interesting thought.

Wait...Wangnan said that he made a shinsu bomb especially for Cassano...so he somehow learned what type of...mixture, I guess? Is best to cause damage to Cassano’s arm. But how did he test that? Why was he so sure that it would be enough to harm Cassano?
