#chapter 5 event

In the robotics lab you may have spotted Casey and Shimura making their way inside and ensuring that there were no people, or perhaps monkeys disturbing what work was going on in there.

As Shimura worked diligently and Casey stood watch they could hear the faint pitter patter of a certain monkey’s footsteps heading over in their direction.  “Hey!  Don’t play me for a fool you two!”  And much like at the other event, Saru managed to squeeze himself into the computer room looking irate as Shimura was briefly prevented from continuing his work.

“Hands up!  I’m tired of you all tampering with all my sets, hacking away at my computers, playing me for a fool with that... pathetic excuse for a fight!  They weren’t anywhere near close to getting lethal!  It’s was like... watching two drunk idiots slapping one another with pool noodles!  And you!”

He points to Shimura, 

“I’ve just about had enough of your tampering you and your-”  

Before he can get another word in though the door behind him swings open causing Saru to stumble forward as Chase and Maggie bolt inside.  Still looking bloody and damaged, but far more concerned for Shimura and Casey’s well being.

Saru quickly hopped back onto his feet.  

“That’s it!  I’ve had it!  You’re all dead!”  

He reaches into his shirt and pulls out a tiny gun.  

“If I have to cull this horrible crew to ensure this movie works I won’t hesitate for even a second!  I’m going to end every single one of you...!  Starting with...”  

And he points the gun towards Maggie.

“You, because you’re such an insufferable person I can’t even stand to look at your face!  Then I’ll take care of Chase, Casey, and finally Shimura.  I want to see the look of despair and hopelessness on your face as I cull you down one by one!”

The gun clicks as he aims...

It was early in the day, perhaps you had just passed them, noticed a strange grouping of four people.  Shimura, Chase, Maggie, and Casey conversing for a small moment before dispersing to who knows where?

Maybe they had some party they were planning?  Some simple question that needed one another to answer?  Your nerves might’ve been on edge since the motive, but you let them be for the time being.  

As binarary codes fly across the screen and loading bar appears there seems to be a video of sorts broadcasting the outside world. It appears to be a news report video taping this figure appearing from the shadows.

“Live here now we see the original creator of chaos seems to have joined the fight to stop the Despair he once created. Much is unknown about this rogue individual, but please note Rex Coleman is still considered dangerous and shouldn’t be approached at any cost.

With the fall of the Future Foundation and another Killing Game going on is there any hope for those inside? What is it that Rex is trying to accomplish? What is Future Foundation leader Aiko Tsukino doing to prevent more Despair and Destruction? Stay tuned for-”

After Tara complains about her weird speech and wonders what’s happening the group receives a message to go to Yumi’s room. As they enter the room they see on the computer screen is an AI version of Yumi!

“Oh look. Webcam Motion Detected... Guess you guys finally got around to a visit. Thanks for the whole... Letting me die like a freakin’ noob thing. Real kind of you. But hey. I always wanted to be in a cutscene. Thank god I left me running, else whoever is left of ya might be stiffer then a... You know what, bad time.”

The spirals within the images glasses started to move, like it were the loading animation.

“I might be dead, but I founds me somethin’ nice and juicy. L33t Yumi strikes again and all that. But Seriously. Watch this, K?”

Akari and Michi noticed everyone has been down lately after the last motive, especially Shingo.

So Akari came up with the idea to throw a surprise party for Shingo and the others!

Akari and Michi, with some extra help from Jacob, set up the Nursery and Arcade to be the new main center for fun!

In the Nursery is food (vegetable and chip dips, pizza, etc.), drinks (soda, water, punch), and desserts (a cake, cookies, cupcakes and candies)

A large Banner that reads “Surprise Shingo!” hangs on the wall.

There’s also a “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” game set up too.

In the arcade certain games are set up to party, Band of Rock, Dance Dance Party, and others!

They hope everyone will have lots of fun during this event!
