Arrietty jumps to safety behind a rock, but instead of just laying low, she runs to Tom, right next to his shoe. Normally not a safe spot for a Borrower, which proves she trusts him completely to protect her. Just a little detail, but I really like that sort of interaction.
I love the way she reacts to the movement of his hand, look at the slight momentum shift when he brings her close. Once again, a tiny detail, but it makes it seem so natural. From "Les Chapardeurs" (2025)

Omg the French animated version of The Borrowers ("Les Chapardeurs") has released a few video previews, and it looks so stinking cute! No release date yet, but it will probably be coming out this Fall.
The rest of season 1 of Les Chapardeurs just dropped! So many cute scenes, I can't post them all at once, but here I love how natural their interactions are : Mid-conversation, just offer your open palm and she hops right into it.
Arrietty using tiny cuteness to get what she wants hehe. A Borrower riding a drone sounds like fun, eh? After all, what could possibly go wrong?!

Just a heads up that the official soundtrack of the French animated series Les Chapardeurs ("The Borrowers") will be coming out on April 12th on all streaming platforms! Composed by Guillaume Poyet and Guillaume Le Henaff, it includes the main theme song performed by Arrietty Blue.
If you don't mind me asking, how have you been able to get clips of 'Les Chapardeurs (2025)'? I've been trying to find the full show myself online, but been having no luck
The entire show isn't out yet. The first season has 44 regular episodes of 11 minutes, two specials of 22 minutes, and a 44 minutes special. It's currently airing in France on TF1 (two new episodes every Sunday) and they have a limited number of episodes available for streaming online on their TF1+ website (on rotation, it seems) : https://www.tf1.fr/tf1/les-chapardeurs The Radio-Télévision-Suisse (RTS) channel in Switzerland so far has posted 27 episodes, plus the two 22' specials. So there's still 17 regular episodes to go, and the long quadruple 44 minutes one (probably the season finale, or the flashback to their first meeting). Maybe on a private Discord would be the safest place. I have no idea if the show will get a second season, but the early numbers were very positive, with over 30% of parts. So there's a good chance that we will get more of Tom and Arrietty! 🤞
