June would take it, at least they got to speak. Who knew when she'd be able to speak with Luke again? ❛ We're in Hawaii, finally. We've been here about a week, Nichole and I. ❜ Does it pain him, to hear the child bear the name Serena gave her? It used to hurt June, make her ache like nothing else. Now, however, it's just normal. Holly hasn't gone away, it took place as a middle name. Though, that fact she elected not to share with anyone. ❛ She's adjusting well, she loves the beach. We started to build sandcastles and play in the water. She hasn't tried to eat the sand yet, maybe you were right. Maybe she's just too smart for that. The fire in the room’s hearth had burned low in the last few hours, and the thudding sound of the rain outside had all but died away at last. Elissa Cousland sat in her chair, a few feet from where her newest Warden still lay unconscious in his bed. Leaning forward, her elbows dug into her knees, her chin rested on her clasped hands, and she watched Nathaniel’s chest rise and fall. 

She was the Commander of the Grey, and thus far, had kept vigil by every Warden she had condemned brought into the Order. As far as she knew, it wasn’t exactly a Warden tradition or anything of that sort, but she remembered her own Joining and it’s aftermath. She had not been left to wake from those nightmares alone, and she wouldn’t leave him to do so either - even if the Seneschal and her recent companions thought her mad for it. Exhaling softly, she unlaced her fingers enough to rub at a sore spot between the bridge of her nose and her brow. 

‘I’m not Rendon Howe, Seneschal. And I am not going to punish a son for mourning his father. Give him his family’s things and let him go.’

She hadn’t expected him to return, but at the same time, hadn’t exactly been surprised. It turned her lips up in a soft, ghosting smile when the echo of Alistair’s voice came to mind… ‘You’re taking the assassin with us now?!’

Ominis sighed heavily as he heard familiar sounding footsteps and placed down his food, head moving in the direction of the noise. "Please tell me that you and Sebastian aren't getting into anymore trouble." That was all he would need in all honesty. It would be nice to have one day without incident.

           “Sirius is doing alright. Knocked his head out when Lestrange cursed him but otherwise, alright.” Harry says, voice soft as he hears Hermione come up from behind him. He turns to look at her, a small smile on his face. “I’m sorry you got injured because of me. But I’m thankful you came with me, knowing the risks,” He adds after a small pause, a small huff of breath escaping from him. “I’m also sorry I didn’t really listen to you, before...maybe things would’ve been different if I had,” he admits, guilt coursing through him.

This was a first, to be specifically requested and sent up to a room. Was she supposed to feel special? Truthfully, she felt terrified. Perhaps that's why there's a moment a hesitation before she knocks on the door, Hannah taking a moment to adjust her outfit. She would have never worn something like this in the world before. There's a lot of things she has to do now that she wouldn't have before. There's a sigh before knuckles gentle rap against the wooden door, only for it to be opened a moment later. A fake smile is presented, now stepping inside the room. ❛ So, requestin' me, huh? Way t' make a gal feel special. ❜ She's trying not to make eye contact, focusing on anything else in the room. That is, of course, until she is being asked about her life before. It's all laid out, full name and address. Information that was supposed to be tucked away and forgotten as she adopted the "Madeline" persona. A pause, considering her options here. What was the worst that could come of being honest?
