Maybe this was a mistake. Travis wondered as he glanced at his date. They were nice, better than nice, actually. Cha Iseul was Travis’ dream submissive - sweet, handsome, so very polite, and well-behaved. Sure, a little quiet. But Travis liked quiet, didn’t he? Iseul hadn’t said a single word in the car as they drove to the restaurant, hands demurely kept in his lap, but he’d smiled at Travis as the Dominant rounded the SUV to open the door for him, he’d placed a palm into Travis’, holding onto his hand as they walked in the building. So was this a mistake? It was time to move on. At least try to move on. It shouldn’t be that hard. He just had to make an effort. Maybe Remy had managed to open up his heart, and it would be easier to find love again if he just … forced it a little.
Which was bullshit, Travis realized, few dreadful moments later when they arrived at the table and he was staring at none other than Remy Moon. Bullshit because there was no way he could replicate the way his stomach twisted into a longing ball at the sight of the other. “I - ” He croaked, “What?”
“Tristan, Sir,” Iseul spoke up beside him. Oblivious to Travis’ shock, his chuckle tinkled out, bright as Christmas bells while the sub held a little tighter around his fingers. “I hope we weren’t late. This is Travis, I was telling you all about him. I’m so happy you two finally met. And this is Remy, I presume?” Iseul reached out, offering his hand in greeting.
