It was simple to say that Wylder hadn’t been in the right headspace for weeks. Things had been hard, but that hadn’t excused the way her spoke to Helena last he saw her. They might not have been a couple anymore, but she hadn’t deserved that. So this is why he found himself at her door, praying to god Marcella didn’t find out. ❝ i’m so sorry about before. i wish i could say it wasn’t me, but… i can say that it’s not the me i love. ❞ Wylder said when she had finally answered. “I was cruel to you...you didn’t deserve that Lena. I want us to be able to move on though. I want us to be able to be friends. Do you think we could try that?” 

" i gotta say, i really don’t get what you see in this. The way I see it let her have them both. This guy rocky seems weak-willed and Bruce...well you know how I feel about him. He's just some scrawny coffee addict with family issues. " Yara crossed her arms, listening to Daphne speak. The two of them had always been more like sisters than anything else. Yara would do anything for her, including murder her ex boyfriend.  "You can do better than both of them. I can't believe you were kissing him during a monster attack. A few months ago you were ready to fling him into the sun. What happened?" But in truth, Yara knew it was a lot easier to hate someone when you didn't have to see them. When you didn't have to be reminded of the little things that used to make you happy.

 ❝ are you going to come sledding with us? it’ll be fun! ❞ Wylder asked Daphne as he sat in her living room. Marcella mentioned she'd told her no earlier, but Marcella wasn't Wylder. He and Daphne went way way back. And he'd be damned if he was going to let her sulk through Christmas. Even if that meant by force. She may have been an amazon but he was literal magic. "And by are you, i mean you are coming. Do you need snow boots?" he said to her going to her closet.

Koa looked up from his place between Wynn’s legs. She’d been braiding his hair while they did face masks. A weekly ritual where they would exchange most of the gossip they got with one another.
