Love your stories so much, and it always brings joy to my life could I have story where the reader adopts a cat without mute not knowing. One day mute comes home and while taking off his shoes the cat runs and decides to go for his feet
Imagine
“Welcome home, little one.” You put the fluffy kitten slowly on the ground. There was a huge smile on your face, as you watched your new best friend explore the house. The kitten looked softer than any store toy. You pat her fur, scratching gently, and listening to her purring. Her mews sounded like newborn baby cries, high pitched yet still soft.
“I hope Chandar will like you too, little one.” As the clock was ticking, your nerves were getting the best of you. Questions were flooding in your mind as you couldn’t take your eyes off the small kitty. You never had a talk with Mute about getting a pet, but you just couldn't leave the kitten in the shelter. You always donated money to a specific shelter and visited that place often. Every time you tried to leave; this specific fur-ball would let out high pitched cries. It pained you to leave her there and decided to adopt her in the heat of the moment.
The sound of a key turning in the lock filled your ears and the kitten in front of you focused her gaze on the door. You suddenly got nervous. Chandar was an understanding man and always saw things from your perspective too. There was actually no need for you to get so worked up. It was the feeling of not knowing his reaction that got the best of you.
“Hello, babe.” Chandar put his bag down and looked at you from across the hallway. His eyebrows furrowed when you didn't jump in his arms. “Aren't you going to welcome your man?” Chandar asked and studied your face expression like an expert. You didn't know how to give him the news that from now on there would be a kitty living with you two. Chandar didn't even see the fluffy animal, because of how small she was. Mute got worried and bent down to take off his shoes, before entering the house.
The kitten balanced herself and prepared for action. You were a second too late to warn him as the kitten went right for your boyfriend’s feet. You saw the shock registered on his face before he could hide it. Every muscle of his body just froze before a grin crept onto his face. It soon stretched from one side to the other showing a bright smile. Surprise isn't an emotion Chandar has ever taken too well, but this was a surprise he would always welcome. It took a second or two for the new information to sink it, even though it was right before his eyes.
Chandar bent down and picked the small feline up. The kitten put her small, soft and pink paw on Chandar’s face, which let the grown-up giggle like a child. You were filled with happiness, the more focused the more intense it got. “Well, I surely didn't expect this one.” Chandar walked towards you with the kitten still in his arms and gave you a kiss. “Might want to tell me how this lucky one got into our house?” You looked at the kitten who was now sound asleep in Chandar’s arms and nodded.
“And that's how she became a part of our family.” You finished the story. Chandar smiled and cupped your face in his big hands and kissed you passionately. “I feel lucky to have you and the little one.” You kissed him back and realized how much you had missed him. You put your hands on the back of his neck and deepened the kiss. Chandar put a bit on his weight on you so you were laying back. After just a few delicate touches of his warm lips, your hands fell down his back. Just when things were getting heated, small pats could be heard from nearby.
The kitten sat next to you two and started meowing. Chandar sighed and got up. “I think someone here forgot to feed you, eh Kitty?” Chandar got up and searched for Kitty’s food. “I see you have gotten used to her already,” you laughed and slowly got up, “I like Kitty. It fits her well.” Chandar couldn't even hear you as he was too focused on Kitty and putting food in her bowl just the right amount. Kitty jumped on the table and watched Mute pouring some cat milk in a small bowl. He sat and watched her eat.
If you knew Mute was going to be so happy, you would’ve adopted a cat earlier.
