This is my chance project
Steps: Remove the jokers from a deck of cards and do not use black, grey, or white colors.
1. Google “Card Suits” and pick the 5th photo to use in photoshop 2. Draw a card from a shuffled deck 3. Based on the suite, add the symbol to the matrix (7,7) that’s on the canvas (11,11) 4. Based on the Value, change the color based on the list below.
A:#ff0000 2:#ff0090 3:#ff00f0 4:#6a00ff 5:#7e00ff 6:#000cff 7:#00a2ff 8:#00fff0 9:#00ff7e 10:#00ff1e J:#deff00 Q:#faff00 K:#ff7e00
Carrying out the probability portion of that project is a breeze. I ensured a happy medium given the colors and how they are specified along the photoshop spectrum.
This my take on Eric’s chance project.
1. Flip a coin 10 times twice. The amount of times it lands on heads is the number of inches for each part of canvas.
2. Grab 2 dice and roll them from 2-12. Each number is a different color that is assigned from a group of solid colors.
2: Blue 3: Green 4: Purple 5: Black 6: Grey 7: Yellow 8: Pink 9: Lime 10: Orange 11: Aqua 12: White
3. Roll 1 dice 6 times. Each roll is a different shape
1: Circle 2: Square 3: Triangle 4: Pentagon 5: Oval 6: Rectangle
4. Repeat these steps until the project is finished
My only critique of this project lies within the bounds of coloring because I am not a fan of such brightness with a grey or black; however, I appreciate the varying colors and I think the shapes do add flow and continuity to the piece despite the lack of solidarity among the coloring pool.
