One moment, he’s walking down the hallway -- the next, he’s pressed against the wall, with his partners kissing every exposed inch of skin. Gray’s hands are traveling, but he’ll ignore that for now.

Sometimes Niwa sings when he thinks he’s alone. Half the time he doesn’t even realize it... until Gray jumps in for the chorus.

Niwa does most of the chores around the house (when he has the energy for them). Gray will go out to do league business. When she comes back, the laundry is done, the dishes are sparkling, there’s a warm meal waiting for her -- and Niwa is napping on the couch.

He knows how Gray was raised. He knows how being slapped around and blamed for everything messes a person up. He knows Gray’s guilt is a result of years of abuse.

His heart aches for her.

He turns around, putting his arms around her so they’re lying face to face.
