Although this man is quite intelligent, he's never heard of the culture of Guam.

I feel like Ushijima loves to look at art in his free time
Show him some of the art made by people in your culture and he'll be more than happy to look at it with you
I have feeling that Ushijima likes to watch sports other than volleyball
So maybe how know a thing or two about Guam’s soccer teams and basketball teams
He would try his best pick up a couple of words in the Chamorro language, just in case for the future if he needs them to communicate with someone you know ( like your parents, grandparents, cousins, etc)
He will try to cook some type of traditional food with you if you’re up for it
He doesn’t really care what it is, he just really wants to spend time with you
Sometimes when you’re walking with him in Japan, people tend to stare. You don’t feel comfortable with it because it makes you feel alienated
He’ll just give whoever was staring at you a hard glare until they are freaked out and just back away

When you show him a painting, he’ll start searching up other pieces of art
he likes to find out the actual meaning of the paintings, and then coming and talk about them to you
probably bought a painting or a piece of pottery off of Etsy because he really liked it
If anyone dares to talk bad about Guam, he’s already at that person’s doorstep ready to beat the living shit out of them

He’s an amazing cook, ok? (it’s canon now because I said so)
he will find traditional a recipe he thinks you will like and cook it for you
Suga loves seeing the smile on your face when he gives the food to you
At this point he’s annoyed his team so much about you and your culture that now everyone else is super curious
