   “Alright Lassie, yer wantin’ ta be in me movies, are yer?” The Conductor eyed over the dragon girl that showed up to his auditions. She had a lot of guts to come here, given that she was much younger than anybody else who’d auditioned for this role. He commended that kind of bravery—even if said bravery was actually naivety. “There’s lots o’ people out there who want ya be in a high-octane action movie directed by yers truly. So tell me, Lassie,” He leaned in, “why should I pick you over the other thirty actors who applied fer this role?”

The sound of Spinel’s voice is the ONLY warning Susie gets before a certain pink slinky is LAUNCHING herself at her. Their signature greeting, of course, so to say the assault would go unexpected would be a bold-faced lie.Â
... But, then again, Spinel DOES have a knack for appearing out of, quite literally, NOWHERE, so....
He goes sliding across the ground, rolling a bit and coming to a stop in a huge pile of leaves. There's the sound of rustling and he sticks his head out, rubbing his beak. "You're lucky I braced for that, or you could've broken my beak!" He fusses, stepping out of the leaf pile and shaking himself free of the stragglers.
This was part two of teaching him how not to be a total weenie. He wasn't a fighter but he wanted to be able to stand up to his morals and be able to do good things. Part one was talking about it, which with Susie as his training partner, only lasted maybe 30 minutes. Next came the fun part. "I'm gunna knock you clean on your scaly butt, I swear to god." He says, holding a hand out and taking a deep breath. There's the sound of air whooshing as it builds and becomes trapped in his grasp, swirling faster and faster until it looks like he's holding a spherical tornado the size of a grapefruit. "Here, try this one on for size!" He tosses it at her like he was throwing a frisbee. Usually the heavier the object inside the sphere was the stronger the attack, but since the only objects the sphere had taken in were leaves, it'd only be able half as effective.
