Troll height headcanon
WARNING THAT BE HEADCANONS BELOW
Based off of what we have seen and know about trolls, I have a firm headcanon that fully gown adult males average nine to ten feet tall- with varying widths; and females are seven to eight tall, varying widths- not counting horn heights.
When looking at the empress and the ancestors, they are all 'impossibly tall'. This could be the art style, yes, but in general comparison they are much taller than the kids. And if a highblood can live hundreds of sweeps easily, they grow two years to our every one, and are already as tall as a young adult 16 - 18 year old human by the time they are just barely growing into their blood color? ... they are going to get bigger once they hit fucking puberty. And then, considering trolls are insect based beings, they have the potential to never stop growing physically as they age- depending on their life span. This could be an easy explanation as to why the sufferer was so small in comparison to the GBH and Darkleer- mutations and such aside. Darkleer and GBH had been alive much longer and had time to grow into the so famous and popular headcanon sizes that they are; while the sufferer was fully grown and into a late stage of mid-life by the time he was executed. We won't touch on Condy because that bitch had an eternal life touch from her lusus. But yeah... basically, headcanon that adult trolls, once puberty (and second puberty-IT EXISTS I SWEAR) hit, they fill out much more than any sprite could show, and can easily grow taller than any human; and the longer and healthier a troll lives, the bigger they can get.
