Chagrin Valley
I’ve had a hair epiphany. A hairphany. I just recently decided to try a method of washing my hair that I’ve never tried before, which is weird because I feel like I’ve tried everything under the sun for my hair. Chagrin Valley is a company that makes all organic beauty products using oils, fruits and vegetables. After some very extensive research, I decided to try two of their shampoo bars. I was skeptical, because that’s just the kind of person I am (shampoo bars? no sulfates? whatever) but my hair is so much easier to manage now. It’s almost like a miracle, if I believed in those things.
My hair is thick, curly/wavy, frizzy and my greatest enemy. After shampooing with these bars for a few times, I no longer need any leave in products after washing my hair. What? Madness. I have been using leave in products for close to 15 years now, probably. It is now soft, manageable curls that do not react to humidity at all. I can’t believe all the money I have spent over the years trying to find something that works. I ordered two shampoo bars and they threw in a third for FREE. I recently cut about 6-7 inches off of my hair into a pretty choppy bob and was very nervous about it but it looks the best that it’s looked in a long time. Just throwing this out there for anybody who is desperate to find something that works and has spent thousands of dollars on expensive hair products. The cost of two shampoo bars plus shipping? About 8 dollars. Just saying. My beauty routine has now been cut in half. Want to feel confident and happy about your hair by barely doing anything? Try shampoo bars!
