Half Moon Workshop: Chag Sameach • חג סמח
I honestly forgot I made this! It's been buried at the bottom of my stock box for ages and it never gets any views, which is a damn shame. It's a multi-purpose holiday banner that reads חג סמח (chag sameach, literally "happy festival") in one of my custom Celtic Hebrew fonts. I remember looking at a bunch of historical Hebrew calligraphy as well as Celtic illuminated manuscripts to come up with the lettering, but it was years ago at this point, so I couldn't name the manuscripts off the top of my head.
I had Sukkot in mind when I made it; I think it would look great in a sukkah, but it would suit other chagim as well.
Anyway, it's finally up on Etsy, right in time for…okay, not really in time for anything, but you can snap it up now and put it up later, right?
