ELLIE: Do you ever wonder if perhaps we’re the problem? It seems almost impossible, but well, when you hear so many of your peers telling you that you’re insufferable and failing to understand that you’re not insufferable, you’re simply better than them… well, it makes you scared every once in a while that maybe they’re correct, I suppose.

CHAD: The thought has crossed my mind.

CHAD: Mostly because Jordan explicitly yelled it at me last week in Marketing is Magic last week when I offered to pay her to do my half of our group project.

CHAD: But the thing is, even if I /was/ the problem, people treat you the same way and you’re clearly out of this world spectacular. So it can’t be us, it must be everyone else.

ELLIE: How could she possibly be offended by being paid for her services? There are plenty of people in school who simply expect work to be done for them, at least you're kind enough to compensate.
