Wonyoung ran out of the dorm as fast as she could and almost bumped into Sunoo in the hallway.
The boy looked utterly confused as she sprinted towards the exit. He peaked through your open door into your dorm. "Y/n?" He called out as you came out of Wonyoung's room.
"Sunoo, what are you doing here?" You asked and signaled for him to come in.
He sat on the couch, eyes flicking to your roommate's room. "Why did Wonyoung look so horrified? She almost ran into me in the hallway." Sunoo said as you chuckled awkwardly.
"It's a long story, but! I found out who hacked your gossip blog."
"Hm? Who? WAIT–! No, no it's not mine. Where did you get that??" Sunoo immediately started defending himself but you had caught him red-handed. He sighed at your stern expression.
"You're not fooling anybody." You commented as the boy sighed.
"Fine, it's mine– or was. Until apparently Wonyoung hacked me and started posting about her and Heeseung. Yuck!" Sunoo rolled his eyes as you chuckled. Then his face shifted into something more serious.
He leaned in like he was about to tell you a secret. "How and when did you find out?" He questioned curiously. You grinned.
"After your second ever post. I knew it had to be someone close to me and Hee. Giselle and Ningning were also suspects but they're not that good at lying. You... on the other hand."
Sunoo chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of his head. A shy smile formed on his lips. "Okay you caught me, I admit defeat. But I only did it to speed things up. You and Heeseung were not making any progress. I just gave you two a little push."
You gave him a skeptical look.
"Right... whatever helps you sleep at night."
"YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT—!!"

"You wanted to talk?" You walked up to Heeseung from behind and hugged his torso, pressing your cheek into his back. He was currently in his kitchen, making something super secret.
"Y/nnn go back to the living room. Don't peak at it!!" He yelled playfully and turned around to cover your eyes with his hand.
You pouted in defeat.
"Fine. But hurry up!!"
You reminded. You looked into the mirror in his room, admiring your hairstyle and floral dress, the one Heeseung specifically asked you to wear. He was clearly planning something important and just the thought of it warmed your heart.
"Okay done!!"
His voice called out from the other side.
He entered the room and walked over to you with a sleeping mask in hand. Your face dropped as he placed it on your head. "No— no way! I'm not wearing that!!" You protested but he grabbed your wrists.
"Y/n pleaseee. I promise it'll be worth it." He pleaded and gave you his irresistable bambi eyes. You huffed and finally gave in.
His face brightened instantly as he placed the mask over your eyes.
"You better not let me fall." You warned as he chuckled. You felt his hand slide to grab yours. His touch felt warm. "Okay, just trust me."
He tugged you towards the door while still holding your hand. You had to take slow and steady hands, but Heeseung didn't let you got for one second.
You heard the door click shut behind you. "Are we in the hallway?" You questioned while patting the air to feel his arm.
"Yup, there's stairs here so don't move."
You flinched slightly when his hand slipped away from yours. Now you were just standing awkwardly, afraid of looking stupid while blindfolded.
Suddenly two arms scooped you up with ease. You shrieked in surprise and gripped the closest thing available, it just so happened to be his shirt. Heeseung chuckled and held you steady.
"Don't worry, I got you."
He reassured, voice sweet like honey. "You couldn't have warned me first!?!" You scolded and hit his chest. "What's the fun in that?" He said and kissed the spot under your ear.
And that's how you ended up in his car, still blindfolded mind you and completely unaware of what was waiting for you. No matter how many questions you asked or how many times you complained, Heeseung didn't tell you a single thing.
He was determined to keep everything a huge surprise.
After 30 minutes of driving the car came to a stop. Heeseung clicked your seatbelt open and got out of the car.
In a split second he was opening the door for you and gently grabbing your hand to lead you out.
You stepped out and were greeted by a gentle breeze. "Wait here and don't move." Heeseung said. You heard him shuffling in the car, before he closed the door.
You stood there for who knows how long while you Heeseung's footsteps against the... grass?
"Are we in a field or something?" You asked, but your question was completely ignored. You suddenly felt his fingers intertwine with yours.
"I'm done." He whispered and gently took off the sleeping mask.
You were greeted with his soft smile. The breeze had moved his hair to one side, he looked excited, boyish...
He took your hand and kissed the back of your hand. His lips left a lingering feeling on your skin. You looked up at him with curious eyes.
"Can I take a look?" You asked as he smiled.
Heeseung moved to the side to unblock your view.
You breath got caught in your throat.
The scene infront of you was beautiful. You gasped out loud at the gorgeous grassfield with multicolored flowers scattered everywhere. The soft paster colors of the sunset tied in with the nature's beauty.
Heeseung had prepared a picnic right under a huge tree. The picnic basket sat on the checked blanket, waiting to be opened. You glanced at him, eyes watering slightly at how beautiful and thoughtfull everything was.
Heeseung approached you again with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He bowed like a real life disney prince and handed them to you with a smile.
"My lady, will you accept this gift?"
He said but his face broke character a few times.
He noticed your glassy eyes and pulled you closer. "Hey what's wrong? Do you not like–?"
"No I love it." By then you were full on crying, tears streamed down your face before you could stop them. Heeseung smiled slightly and gently wiped your tears away with his thumbs.
He caressed your cheeks and kissed your forehead lovingly.
You really felt like the luckiest person alive with him by your side. Everything he prepared just warmed your heart and made you fall for him more.
He pulled you into his familiar embrace, not caring if the bouquet got squished or not. You were reminded of all the times he hugged you in the past.
He may have been your best friend then..
But now he was more than that.
He was your soulmate.
A person so dear to you, you'd die before letting him go.
Heeseung felt you sqeeze him tightly. He chuckled before pulling away. "All this crying is making you hungry, no?" He asked and led you towards the picnic blanket.
You sat down infront of him as he placed the bouquet in your lap. It looked a bit flat from getting you squished.
You didn't care at all.
You'd even take withered flowers from him.
You brought the bouquet up to your nose and took in the sweet scent. Heeseung watched like you were a precious painting. He opened the picnic basket and handed you a perfect triangle-cut sandwich.
You gasped and took it from him. "So this is what you were making?" You asked as he nodded.
You took a big bite and hummed in delight. "Oh yeah that's delicious." You said with the food still in your mouth. You felt Heeseung's gaze still on you so you leaned forward and brought your sandwich to his mouth.
He blinked at first before opening his mouth and letting you feed him.
He hummed in satisfaction, pleased with his cooking skills.
"I made cookies too."
"What— NO WAY!!"

You layed on the picnic blanket with your hands under your head. Heeseung had comfortably placed his head on your stomach, claiming that 'this was the best pillow'.
You giggled at that and let him relax.
Your fingers gently played with the strands of his hair, just how he liked. His occasional hums soothed you too. His eyes closed in complete relaxation.
You stared up at the sky.
The sun was barely visible on the horizon.
Hues of dark blue slowly crept up on the sky. Soon enough you were counting stars in your head.
You'd never felt more comfortable.
With two fantastic views to feast your eyes on. One, you were looking at right now, while the other layed on your stomach with his eyes closed.
"Y/n?"
He suddenly spoke. You hummed in responce.
You felt his head leave your stomach. You opened one eye to look at him.
Heeseung was fidgeting with his pockets. He suddenly took out a small box. You sat up to get a better look as he moved it towards you. "Open it." He encouraged you while he fought back his smile.
You lifted the top off the box and gasped softly. "It's beautiful.." You whispered and looked up at his eyes.
Two necklaces that molded together to create one heart.
Heeseung took out one of them and leaned forward. "These are suppost to be friendship necklaces, But I thought it fit us well. We did spend most of our lives as best friends, so now we should honor that." He began, voice low and full of emotion.
He moved your hand to one side and clasped the necklace around your neck. You looked at it with heartfelt eyes. Then you grabbed the other necklace.
"Now it's your turn."
You leaned forward to place the necklace around his neck. His hands crept up to your waist to balance you. Just as you finished he gazed at you with starstruck eyes.
You maintained eye contact for what felt like eternity.
He cleared his throat and gulped, adam's apple moving in the process. You recognized his nervousness instantly. He opened his mouth to speak.
"I kept thinking about choosing the right words to express my feelings... so Y/n, I love you. Always have, wheather it was as a best friend or as the love of my life. I can't live without you by my side. Can I be your boyfriend so that I can spend my life with you?"
Your breath got caught in your throat. You knew how he felt about you, always have. But now that you were hearing it from his mouth the emotions seemed too real.
You smiled and hugged his neck tightly.
All the anxiety Heeseung felt suddenly disappeared in your embrace. He smiled widely and sqeezed you tightly, signaling that he would never let you go.
"I love you too, so so much. And I'm so thankful to have you in my life." You said and kissed him passionately. He returned the gesture instantly, lips moving against yours with enough love to fill the ocean.
You softly pulled away, placing your forehead against his
"Did you remember it? When you said 'Can I be your boyfriend' instead of 'will you be my girlfriend'?" You asked, heart warming at the tiny details he took into account.
"Of course I did. You said it was more romantic that way. So.. Did I do a good job?" He grinned and kissed your cheek.
"You did amazing Hee. I love you." You kissed him on the lips again, slow and loving.
"I love you more."
He said but you stopped mid-kiss to raise a brow at him.
"No I love you more." You stated.
"Nuh uh, that's not possible."
"Yes it it and I'm right here."
"Nope still love you more."
You pouted at his stubborness. "Okay how about this? We love each other equally?" He pulled you into another hug. You took that as a truce and felt satisfied.
"I still love you more though."
"HEESEUNG—!!"
