Both but more harmful, tbh. It helped me get comfortable with gay people, yeah, but it also made my internalized homophobia worse aka when I ided as Demibiromantic homosexual because MOGAI made being a lesbian into this restrictive, scary thing. Like, all my gay friends knew I was a lesbian before I did. All them. My sophomore year my friend told me that i just needed a haircut and then we could be a butch and twink iconic duo and I was like “uh no I am not a lesbian”

SUMMARY: Arsen Zao is a spy hidden so well within the ranks of the Queen’s military that he was appointed the sole bodyguard of the crown princess at 14, only two years older than Anabelle herself. The organization he works for is aiming to take down the throne from the inside, using the network of spies already installed deep within the castle walls to bring the royal family down to their knees, and then kill them all. The only hitch in their otherwise flawless plan is Arsen’s rather inconvenient romantic feelings towards Anabelle’s older brother Wyn and his unwavering loyalty to the princess that has become his best friend.

With the help of another palace guard Arsen manages to get both the prince and the princess out of the castle mere hours from the planned attack. The problem arises after the Queen is slaughter and her executors put in power, when the people that raised Arsen like one of their own put a bounty on his head high enough to change the life of all but the richest nobles. hm i know this is lame but honestly?? twilight. it got me back into reading after years of not picking up a book unless i had to and now i love reading just as much as i did as a kid

uh well i guess for sure i’d want red queen, probably at least one of the harry potter books and,,,,,,, dark visions #whoops

SUMMARY: when earth finally made contact with extraterrestrials, it didn’t go as movies and tv want you to believe. in the aftermath of the intergalactic war against the planet meszic, most of the earth was turned into a wasteland, entire cities crumbling to dust at the commend of lord kalloe, the general leading the attacking army. the surviving humans were captured and put in facilities designed to keep them contained while the rest of the meszician people colonized earth, taking advantage of the resources and ample space the planet provided.

three generations after the original take over of earth and humanity has grown restless, rebellion bubbling under the surface and around every corner. lord kalloe still rules over his people with an iron fist, but rumours are sparking, he is in failing health, and now is the time for humanity to take back it’s home. the human liberation brigade has been operating in secret for over 50 years, and they are taking advantage of what is a once in a lifetime opportunity. breaking out of one the facilities is hard, getting to the capital, set up in what was once kyzyl, russia, is even harder, but hardest is sticking together through the trials and tribulations of the task at hand. can a group of people who’ve never spent more than a few hours outside, save the entirety of humanity? or will they doom their people to a life living in shadows?
