Biggest fear: As she got older she came to fear losing her memories and intellect with age. She often told Louis that if she developed any sort of neurodegenerative disease she'd prefer to be euthanized.

Biggest fantasy: Travelling the world, taking photographs, meeting new people, just admiring the earth and the people on it

Bad habits: Overanalyzing things, being a bit of a busybody

Biggest regret: Never being able to fulfil the diplomatic role of queen. She sometimes feels she would have been better at it than Katherine ever was.

Best kept secrets: Why she never remarried. Nobody really knows the answer to this. Also, her true feelings about George's sexuality are up in the air.

Last thought: She's dead, she hasn't thought anything in a while.

Worst romantic experience: There were a lot of men who tried to pursue her after George's death. The more ambitious they were, the more she hated them.

Biggest insecurity: Her height. She was just shy of five feet tall.

BACKGROUND STORY SERIES: POLLY & RUBY RYDER.

Welcome to the late night special where I'll discuss some interesting details about my OCs. It might happen with all of them, it might not. This is based off their interactions with other muses. Today's post is about the Ryder sisters. My muses page won't let me be more detailed so.. that's the reason I'm going to do this. Plus, it's also important to know the background so we can adapt it to threads (especially those partners I have ships with). Some details I might have missed in the beginning of threads ---- they'll be included from now on heh. Under the cut we go!

we both decided that ruby would be more relaxed casual with her camp counselor outfits, whereas aasim is definitely more by the books about it.

they also get paired together for walking nature trails with kids bc ruby knows a lot about plants and aasim has a lot of survival tips and tricks!

and, naturally, it’s love at first sight with aasim the moment he lays eyes on ruby lol.

🍓 damsel’s the one to teach her how to use a gun !!!! before that, she primarily stuck with some brass knuckles she picked up off of the latest bad guy to piss her off. the whole Learning To Shoot scene is very homoerotic, considering it takes her and damsel literally like a decade to get together

🍓 after everything falls apart in LA, her and damsel go on the run together for a few years, because the blood hunt’s still out on her and nines doesn’t want her going out alone. ruby calling it their ‘gay honeymoon’ in the beginning was rly only supposed to be a joke, only then they, ykno, fall in love

spotlights dim a few moments after the music stops - the sound echoes around the room still, reverb, a ripple in the faceless dark - a blur of lights and flashes of skin, this all ends only to be replaced by whistling, hooting - other sounds. she descends into the crowd, walking the space between tables and booths like pews.

she imagines a face she hasn’t seen in months. lights strobe, casting her own a shadow - all the same, everything in the dark. heading backstage to remove her costume - trailing behind her, pink plumed and sequined - to slip into something entirely more intimate for the remainder of the time tonight, another familiar face emerges - one from a different life, a time nearly forgotten.
