Ok i kinda agree that Lemillion’s intro is weird because Deku was surprised about it, despite being present when Lemillion got his powers back (and also it would make sense that he’s at the plf war since the other big 3 are here too, so;)
Robin knows Luffy’s headed towards the bell because he basically told her, but Zoro’s the one to piece together Luffy’s reasoning why and is the first to understand that no matter what Nami does, Luffy’s not going to leave Skypiea until he rings the bell.
I really appreciate that we’re shown Zoro remembering this mini flashback and getting on the same page as his captain in real time, since it’s so rare that we see a character’s inner thought process within the series
We’re not given any hard numbers, but it’s kind of shocking (pun intended) seeing this destruction play out. It has a very different feel than the war in Alabasta, though the body count being shown on screen isn’t all that different. Crocodile had his power and guile, but this rampage feels more like watching a Godzilla movie. Enel is literally a force of nature, everyone around him might as well be ants for all they can oppose his will.

I had an ask way back at the beginning of the arc wondering about my thoughts on the eventual reconciliation between the Skypieans and Shandorians, stating they’d always interpreted it as “too submissive” on the part of the Shandorians. While I still want to wait till the very end of the arc before making any judgment, I will say that the matter is complicated considerably when Enel completely destroys both Angel Island and the Shandorian’s cloud village.
And by destroy, there’s literally a hole in the sky with a view down all the way to the Blue Sea. Pretty much the only place left to live for both is the varse, with both groups having to start over pretty much from scratch when it comes to both infrastructure and resources.

Wyper’s been a giant dick this entire arc, and while I still think the dude needs to take some anger management classes or something, these couple panels with him as a wee lad make it impossible for me to hate him. Just...that expression gets me every time
