ALD Automotive Türkiye, Toyota Türkiye işbirliğiyle müşterileri için özel bir ”Hibrit Etkinliği“ düzenledi. ALD Automotive ikinci kez düzenlediği ”Hibrit Etkinliği” ile alternatif güç aktarım teknolojileri konusundaki farkındalığı arttırmayı ve karbon salınımı ile yakıt tüketimini azaltmanın önemini vurgulamayı amaçladı.

Toyota C-HR (Compact High Rider) cuenta con un diseño exterior parecido a un coupé, adquiriendo así un estilo único; por su parte, el interior añade una experiencia exclusiva para el conductor y sus pasajeros, esta mini SUV inspirada en vehículos Racing, la harán la mejor opción de aquellos que llevan un estilo de vida atrevido.

C-HR no solo se ve bien, también tiene la deportividad para impresionar, gracias a los esfuerzos del encargado del diseño: Hiroyuki Koba, que junto con su equipo pusieron especial énfasis en el diseño, sin sacrificar desempeño para asegurar que entusiasmara a su conductor en cualquier momento y en cualquier lugar. Al igual que su aspecto innovador y diferente, combina confort, control, coherencia y capacidad de respuesta. Este vehículo fusiona 2 grandes ideas: por un lado el diseño, con un estilo único con líneas más fuertes y deportivas, y por otro lado la experiencia de manejo: versátil y capaz, que ofrece una respuesta sorprendentemente ágil.

Su diseño exterior es original, con trazos geométricos en forma de diamante que trasmiten dinamismo combina un estilo llamativo que destaca dondequiera que se encuentre. Resalta su diseño deportivo el diseño de faros en línea recta, que fluye en continuidad con las salpicaderas, y con los espejos laterales abatibles eléctricamente y con luz direccional. Cuenta con una parrilla inferior en forma trapezoidal, el nuevo ADN de Toyota.

El diseño interior proyecta alta funcionalidad, comodidad y sofisticación en cada detalle.. La sección del conductor es de ergonomía avanzada, orientada a una mejor concentración y un manejo más emocionante.

Esta nueva mini SUV de Toyota está disponible en una única versión, equipada con un motor de 2.0L que ofrece una respuesta rápida y ágil con 148 HP; transmisión CVT-iS que garantiza una adaptación perfecta a cada situación de manejo; cuenta con Valvematic que es el más avanzado sistema de gestión valvular de motor que permite adaptarse a continuos cambios de aceleración, ofreciendo la máxima respuesta con el mejor rendimiento de combustible; además de rines de aluminio de 17”.

Toyota C-HR incorpora los ya conocidos sistemas de seguridad activa y pasiva Star Safety System de la marca, entre los que se encuentran 7 bolsas de aire y otros elementos de cuidado y protección para todos los pasajeros. La nueva Mini SUV de Toyota además cuenta con un equipamiento de alto valor como pantalla multi-información de 4.2” a color, sistema de audio con pantalla touch de 7”, palanca de velocidades con modo secuencial, elevadores eléctricos de cristales delanteros y traseros, sistema de aire acondicionado dual, Smart Key, manos libres, computadora de viaje y espejo retrovisor electrocromático (que evita el reflejo de luces automáticamente).

“Nuestra mini SUV, Toyota C-HR representa la nueva forma de construir vehículos de Toyota, con un diseño diferente y atractivo que no sacrifica desempeño, tiene todo para convertirse en el nuevo referente de su segmento. Debutó en el mercado a finales de 2016 en Japón como una mini SUV que refleja al nuevo Toyota y es una digna representante de la respuesta de la marca a las cambiantes necesidades de los mercados globales. Toyota C-HR ya se encuentra en el mercado mexicano con un precio de $359,900 pesos y está disponible en siete diferentes colores: blanco, grafito, plata, negro, rojo, verde metálico y azul nébula.

Toyota C-HR R-Tuned: minden idők leggyorsabb szabadidőjárműve

A Toyota megépítette minden idők leggyorsabb városi szabadidő járművét. A Toyota CH-R már eddig is fenekestül forgatta fel a crossoverek piacát, most pedig új bravúrra készül – igaz, ehhez minden porcikájában át kellett alakulnia.

Fantasztikus, rendszerint csak tanulmányautókon látható formai megoldások, hipertakarékos hibrid hajtáslánc és rock-sztároknak kijáró piaci népszerűség: egyetlen mondatban így foglalható össze annak a CH-R crossover modellnek a lényege, amellyel a Toyota megerősítette a világ legnagyobb és leginnovatívabb autógyártói között elfoglalt pozícióját.

Nincs persze az a tökéletes termék, amit ne lehetne még jobbá tenni – ha nem is minden szempontból, egy-egy jellemzőjében feltétlenül. A Las Vegasban megrendezett SEMA kiállításon, a világ legnagyobb és legfontosabb tartozék- és tuningpiaci szakmai rendezvényén kiállított Toyota C-HR R-Tuned egy vadonatúj, gyakorlatilag nem is létező piaci szegmensbe, a szupersport-szabadidőjárművek osztályába vezeti be a modellt.

Az Európában 1.2 literes turbómotorral vagy 1.8 literes hibrid hajtáslánccal, Észak-Amerikában 2.0 literes szívómotorral szerelt városi crossover ezúttal egy negyedik erőforrást, egy 2.4 literes, négyhengeres benzinmotort kapott.

A rettenetes méretű Garrett turbófeltöltővel szerelt blokk felfoghatatlan 600 lóerőt küld az első kerekekre.

Ezek a beépített részlegesen önzáró differenciálműnek köszönhetően minden logikát nélkülöző módon nemcsak megbirkóznak az iszonyatos teljesítménnyel, de szuper-sportkocsikat megszégyenítő menetdinamikát tesznek lehetővé: az autó minden idők ötödik legjobb köridejét futotta a kaliforniai Willow Springs International Raceway versenypályán.

A pontos köridő 01:25:22 századmásodperc ez pedig azt jelenti, hogy a Toyota C-HR R-Tuned a világ leggyorsabb szabadidőjárműve.

Az átépítés során a gyári autó brutális motortuningot, gigantikus Brembo versenyfékeket, egy felettébb harcias megjelenést és 130 kilogramm leszorítóerőt biztosító aerodinamikai csomagot, valamint 18 colos keréktárcsákra szerelt, fél-slick Toyo Proxes RR versenyabroncsokat kapott.

A Toyota hivatalosan is megerősítette, hogy a fejlesztés több mint másfél éven át tartott, az autó prototípusai rendszeres vendégek voltak a versenypályán.

A SEMA kiállítás egyik legmeghökkentőbb sztárjának utastere is méltó a crossover átalakult funkciójához: a hátsó üléseket kiszerelték, a felületeket szénszálas panellel fedték le.

Toyota’s funky new urban escape machine. A colleague described the CH-R as ugly, a rival for the infamous Pontiac Aztek. I’m not familiar with that particular piece of Americana, but I think he was being a tad harsh. I’d prefer to describe the styling as striking, a stand out in a sea of bland. The name CH-R stands for Compact High Rider, Cross Hatch Runabout or Coupe High Rider – depending on who you’re talking to. Sitting below the RAV in terms of size it’s targeted at the young and young at heart, but is sure to have wide ranging appeal.

  What’s it cost?

Prices start from a reasonable $26,990 for the two-wheel drive manual, with an additional $2000 for an auto and $2000 for all-wheel drive. The better spec’d but more expensive Koba two wheel drive version with an auto is $33,290. Top of the line Koba with auto and all-wheel drive rounds out the range at $35,290 – all prices plus onroads. Koba adds leather, larger wheels, keyless start – but not much else really worth having. The level of safety across the board is high too, with a pre-collision safety system, active cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure alert with steering assist and reversing camera. As you can see the price quickly builds and there’s still plenty of options you can add to change the look of the car.

  What’s it go like?

We clocked up more than 1100 back-to-back kilometres in the manual and auto. All models are powered by the same 1.2-litre turbocharged four, with 85kW of power and 185Nm of torque – the latter delivered between a useful 1500 and 4000 revs. Belying its tiny engine capacity it actually gets along quite well. The 1.2 turbo is paired with a either 6-speed manual or CVT style automatic with seven steps or gears. Although the two-wheel drive manual felt more than adequate, it can if you’re inattentive be caught off boost at times, resulting in little or no throttle response. Putting it in sport mode makes a discernible difference and that’s where you’ll probably want to leave it most of the time, but you have to keep engaging sport mode every time you start the car. Of the two we much prefered the CVT, which was smoother and overcomes this problem – it really hits the sweet spot. The manual is rated at 6.3L/100km, the CVT 6.4 or 6.5 depending on whether its front or all-wheel drive (we were getting around these figures with both). You’re probably wondering do I really need all-wheel drive? No, not really – it’s overkill.

  What are the alternatives?

The aging but still smart looking Mitsubishi ASX continues to lead this segment, based mainly on price and looks. From $25,000 it remains a very appealing package.

The HR-V is a very underrated car and one of our favourites in the Honda lineup.

Mazda CX-3, priced from $20,490

Love the styling but based on the Mazda2 it’s actually quite small inside.

Now this really is ugly. I’ll never forget the first time I laid eyes on it at some motor show overseas.

  Deal or no deal?

CH-R is not our cup of tea, but there’s no reason not to give it a look. Try the two wheel drive with CVT first, then go for a run in the entry Koba for $3000 more – the big difference for us was in the ride quality which was oddly much better in the Koba despite lower profile rubber.
