Mihawk refers to Luffy as あの次世代の申し子/ano jisedai no moushigo. Jisedai means ‘next generation/future generation,’ and then moushigo is the interesting word here to me. It can mean either, like, ‘heaven-sent child’ or, as is probably the case here, ‘child of an era.’

This is another one I feel is probably censored in the official translation, tragically, but Doflamingo calls Crocodile ワニ野郎/wani-yarou which literally means ‘crocodile bastard.’
And then shortly after, Crocodile reciprocates by calling Doflamingo フラミンゴ野郎/furamingo-yarou (‘flamingo bastard’) and also blasting him away with a massive sandstorm.
When Doflamingo is explaining (read: mocking) to Ivankov about Kuma’s roboticization, he refers to him as a 人間兵器/bakemono. The kanji 人間兵器/ningen heiki mean ‘human weapon.’
But the pronunciation, bakemono, means ‘monster.’
