ours! it's revealed in ch 403 (which btw @togrieve4 that's the one side story i do suggest you try reading if only because the implications are fascinating and i'd really like to know what you think of them. so like. skip the rest of this ask akshdjk) that as he's carrying a drunk og lloyd home, javier sees a shooting star and, filled with frustration and dread for the future of the estate, wishes that the guy he's carrying on his back could turn into a new person and come to his senses. but the star passes far too quickly and the last of his wish is lost, heard only by javier himself. he scolds himself for doing something so childish and carries on his way.
but then, once they're home and he's put lloyd to bed, he starts hearing him mutter strange things, weird words he's never heard before, but still better than the usual drunken sleep talking. so in a way, he wonder if his wish was granted. even if only for one night. he hopes it can last to the next day too.

Considering how hard javier resists even pinching suho!lloyd despite being annoyed by him sometimes, it really shows how far og!lloyd pushes him that javier doesnt fucking hesitate to punch him unconscious.

This is the chapter title for Sanji getting the shit stomped out of him by Kalifa. It says ‘Mr. 騎士道/kishidou.’ Kishidou means chivalry, but specifically the knightly, romantic Western kind of chivalry. The word literally means ‘knight (騎士) way (道).’
Now, during the Alabasta Saga, Vivi dubbed + consistently referred to Zoro as ‘Mr. 武士道/bushidou.’ Bushidou is almost the same word as kishidou- two of the three kanji are even the same, and it also refers to a type of chivalry/honor code, but bushidou is the word for the samurai style of chivalry. Again, it literally means ‘samurai (武士) way (道).’ Some of the tenets of bushidou include loyalty, self-sacrifice, and honor until death.
So basically, Zoro is Mr. Japanese/Samurai Chivalry and Sanji is Mr. European/Knightly Chivalry.
Sorry, this is a question about an old arc, but... During his fight with Kalifa, in the English version, Sanji calls her a "piece of crap"(after she kicks him you-know-where). Does he also insult her in the Japanese version?

Anyways, yeah, he absolutely insults her- twice over, in fact!- though what he’s actually saying is rather different. He calls her onore, which is another one of those ‘you’ pronouns that’s so harsh and direct it’s basically a swear word (like teme and kisama)- and specifically onore is often an exclamation of anger, as here. And then he calls her ガキ/gaki which is kinda like ‘brat.’
It doesn’t really work in English but the joke here is that both of the words Nami and Sanji say are compound verbs that end with 直す/naosu (to fix/correct), which makes them sound superificially similar. Nami says 見直した/minaoshita (I’ve reconsidered), which Sanji intentionally mishears as 惚れ直した/horenaoshita (I’ve rekindled my love).
