My new "baseless tall" stitch grew into an air plant 😄 with the help of a light soak in Mod Podge. Crocheted air plants also need only air to survive, so it should be fine planted in a pot of thread. These 8 tall-stitch swatches have a lot going on but right now I'm just comparing changes in overall row heights and widths. Swatched & blocked them in March while the pandemic news was breaking. Today is the day I can listen to everything they want to tell me. DID YOU KNOW that you can make tall stitches with out crocheting them into a base, and you didn't tell me?? I call them "baseless talls". Look at their nubby little ends.
