Dan Heng often kept to himself even though he was open to the ones who he did trust even though it did take time for that trust to be gained. He found people he could trust, but the heavy burden of his past continued to rest on his shoulders. It was one that he had yet to truly bring up his traveling companions since it was something that he could bring himself to talk about.Â
The small group had enough to deal with since there were more important things to deal with because of the plants that needed their assistance. Especially when the presence of a Stellaron decided to make an appearance. It was unknown where their next stop was going to take them, but the Astral Express would be there to assist when the time called for it.Â
A new crew member. One who was obviously different, but everyone had agreed to allow her to stay during their journey. She wasn’t a threat. She was someone who was proven to be helpful since they first crossed paths, but there was still more to learn about her. Xing wasn’t the only one who was possibly hiding secrets.Â
Dan Heng had his own secrets. He wasn’t ready to reveal the truth about his lineage. He wasn’t ready to speak about the heavy burden that continued to rest heavily against his shoulders.Â
A book resting between his fingers. A simple question which caused him to glance up from the page that he had been focused on. A question Dan Heng wasn’t going to answer that easily since it would make him speak the truth about his burdens. About his troublesome past.Â
