also!!! from the whole 10 minutes of research i did into these lil dudes i learned that

1. they just kinda spend their whole life floating through the sea on their rad ass bubble surfboards (bubbleboards)

2. all of these snails are born male & become female over time so they’re all trans!!!!!!!! trans snails. trails.

3. they eat man o wars. and since they’re super tiny i’d imagine they occasionally hitch rides on these giant hydrozoan monsters and thats so fucking metal

it’s been a little while since we’ve done one of the Daily-ish Art challenges, and this we in fact did over several days - sketch one day, and then a break day, and then lines tonight. we don’t 100% Love how the lines for this friendo turned out, but we were focusing more on the goal of just, doing the lines in about 15 minutes. it took more about 25, all told, but that’s still really good in the context of our art skills and what we’re striving for - we’ve previously spent hours and hours lining pieces.

okay tbh. thinkin ab big chumby hercules beetle larvae is usually enough to bring me outta a bad mood but TAISHE OUT HERE TAKIN IT ONE STEP FURTHER…

STAN WOBBEGONGS!!! they’re not ugly they’re my FRIENDS. they’re round and look rlly goofy and they all have cute lil whiskers. they’re also v close to the top of my list of animals to make rpg monsters out of or possibly make dnd characters
