DAY 1

- International Academy for Film and Television -

Time of Visit: 9:00 am

Techs Used/Best Practices: Computers, Tripods, Cameras, Editing, Animation, Acting, Filming.

What I learned: Focus, imagination, creativity, dedication, no sleep, and coffee are the secret ingredients to a successful project.

Reflection: Practice is also a factor on creating any project to make it successful and outstanding.

- Mandaue Command Center -

Time of Visit: 2:45 pm

Techs Used/Best Practices: Loop Sensor, SKATS.

What I learned: Following street rules is a must and sharp eyes to monitor every screens for any naughty citizens.

Reflection: It's not a bit on my the field of my major but it was also a tough job monitoring 71 cameras.

DAY 2

- MyTV -

Time of Visit: 9:00 am

Techs Used/Best Practices: Computers, Editing, Filming.

What I learned: Green screen is a must when your network has multiple shows.

Reflection: It's fun to learn on how you go live and edit the footage at the same time.

- PAG-ASA -

Time of Visit: 2:30 pm

Techs Used/Best Practices: Barometers, Rain Gauge, Projector, huge Balloon thingy.

What I learned: Measuring the weather and keeping up with the changes ain't easy.

Reflection: Knowing what'll happen next is nice but scary.

DAY 3

- 6D Theater -

Time of Visit: 10:00 am

Techs Used/Best Practices: Big screen, “motion” chairs, 6D glasses.

What I learned: How to disappoint people's expectations 101.

4; The staff were friendly and very attentive of our needs.

4; The room's doorbell wasn't working.

4; Although some of it were amazing but the last venue just sucked the expectations.

5; I especially loved the visit to IAFT, MyTV, and Mandaue Command Center.

4; Air con + bus = jjang! [amazing]

5; We (my classmates and I) may not be that close to the others but they were friendly.

------------------------------------------------------------------------ Question: What aspects of the educational tour could be improved? Other comments? Answer: 6D Theater! Royal Concourse! Disappointing. Sad. Horrid. Err, not really horrid but yeah. Hoping that they would've put something else, something that we would've really enjoyed. Hehe

Side trip 1.3: Dabbin’ on that cube near the seaside~
