was having a bad day so decided to revisit ur centaur au again and I had a thought. Jaskier but make him an elk (maybe even an Irish elk). Geralt brings him back to Kaer Morhen for the first time and everyone is just. wtf I thought u said he's a deer and Geralt is just, yeah an elk is a deer. everyone's thinking of a tiny white tailed deer and in swaggers this absolute unit of a bard.

So. How big does Jaskier's rack (his antlers) get? And does he ever get them stuck on things, like low branches or doorframes when he isnt paying attention or is drunk?? Or have they ever gotten tangled with another deer-centaur's antlers when they battled??

Deer regurgitate their food to chew properly. Do what you will with this information.

Okay but how panicked would Geralt been when Jaskier sheds his velvet for the first time around him? Cuz it can get bloody. Also do deer centaurs go into rut?
