not a super crazy prediction but i think the radio tower and specifically turning off/on the voltage on it is going to be important in some way later...
i feel like perhaps it'll be used at some point in vol 2 as a way to absolutely FRY the demogorgans / other monsters / vecna himself ??
like maybe it won't be a huge plot point but i do think they'll come up with some sort of plan involving luring the demogorgans / vecna to the top of the radio tower + roasting the fuck out of them by cranking up the voltage (and i REALLY hope this plan won't involve any self-sacrificing bullshit from any of the characters)
(but i fear it might be inevitable for one of them to act as the bait + sacrifice themselves to lure the baddies onto the radio tower + get fried to a crisp as a result) (or at least they'll set it up in a way that the audience believes the character will die)
