Insane how Loid introduced himself to us, stating proudly: “I am Loid, Cephalon servant to House Entrati.” And he has identified that way for practically forever (at least since Albrecht and Human Loid both vanished over a millennium ago). The entire Entrati family calls him Loid. Kerremos even recalls fond memories of Loid, seemingly attributing Loid's human days to our current Loid. And yet the moment Human Loid resurfaces, his in-game name swaps from Loid to NecraLoid. And he begins referring to himself as NecraLoid.
Perhaps in Human Loid's absence, this clone of Loid—turned Cephalon— was able to forget his origin and allowed himself to be... himself! He may not be the original, and he may not even be human any more, but he is just as much Loid as Human Loid!! And he has had a millennium to get over his abandonment by Albrecht and the existential crisis of his existence. Until reality came crashing back down and Human Loid very quickly put this... construct in its place and sent him away to be a glorified babysitter (which is very ironic, as that is exactly what Human Loid himself was to the Entrati family most of the time). This is crazy to me and we still haven't properly been told all of this yet in-game. My beloved Loid </3
