On Saturday, December 13th, for 3 hours, Central Lutheran in Van Nuys had their annual JOY event… part charity toy shop, party Christmas Festival for the entire community!! I’m proud to have produced the event again and so thankful to all the volunteers, sponsors, and people who attended!!

LOVE that the work happening at Central is getting more attention...
People got 3 to 5 pounds of protein such as fish or chicken, plus vegetables, fruit, beans, rice, bread, canned staples
Busy day volunteering at @central.vannuys today!!
Photo 1️⃣ is showing the AWESOME bag I won from @independentlens (THANK YOU!)!! No lie, I was SUPER EXCITED TO WIN THIS!! It’s literally the perfect bag to bring on Mondays when I #volunteer !! Plus, I love watching this show on @pbs (It even has a zipper!!)
📷2️⃣3️⃣ Before distribution, We replenished our sundry bags for our unhoused neighbors!! Tooth brush, TP, Deodorant, and a bunch of other useful items!
📷4️⃣ @lafoodbank brings the food and we bring the volunteers, including today, friends from Valley Presbyterian Hospital!! They even donated bags to our neighbors 📷5️⃣!!
📷6️⃣ The food we provided to almost 700 households today!!!
AND if all that wasn’t enough, we started a contest today for a free #AmazonFireStick !! Just got to follow #JoinCentral on social media (IG and Facebook) and you’ll be entered in raffle!!
